*You, an Evans National Bank personal checking customer, (in good standing) must have or open an Evans National Bank Statement Savings account (in good standing), have been approved for an Evans National Bank VISA® (branded) Debit card, and register for the Pocket the Savings service.  Pocket the Savings transfers will begin within two business days of registration for the product.

Should there be joint account holders on a personal checking account, each holder must sign up for Pocket the Savings separately.  Pocket the Savings transfers are only available from one personal checking account to one Statement Savings account per account holder.  An account holder on a joint checking account may have the Pocket the Savings transfers made into any Evans National Bank Statement Savings account as long as they are an account holder on the account.  Pocket the Savings transfers cannot be transferred into an account under another individual’s name. Pocket the Savings is only available on VISA® Debit cards linked to an Evans National Bank personal checking account. Transferred funds can only be deposited in an Evans National Bank Statement Savings account.

If on any business day, you do not have sufficient available funds in your checking account, or if any transaction has overdrawn your checking account, the Bank will NOT transfer the difference between the purchase and the next full dollar amount posted on that business day and we will cancel the Pocket the Savings transfer for that day.  If the VISA® Debit card purchase is subsequently cancelled or reversed, the corresponding Pocket the Savings transfer will remain in the Statement Savings account. 

It should be noted that another Bank has applied for a business process patent.  Should that patent be approved, Evans National Bank may have to cease the availability of this service.  You, the customer, or Evans National Bank may cancel the Pocket the Savings service at any time, for any reason. Go into any branch of Evans National Bank to request that the service be stopped or call the Evans National Bank Customer Service department at 716-926-2000.
